Development Summary

Our sustainable housing development in Montrose Woods offers homeowners the chance to relocate to a beautiful rural location to enjoy life within a smaller community.

The Montrose Woods development is in a highly sought-after location in the pretty village of Auldearn, near Nairn. Thus there was high demand for our properties on this R.HOUSE development from the start.

We are delighted to share with you some of the wonderful comments from some of the Montrose Woods residents:

“Owning and living in this incredibly efficient, warm, beautiful open plan house, which is flooded with light (all year round), has literally been life-changing."

“Throughout my journey with R.HOUSE, my needs and desires were met with a positive response and warm support – it has been so good to deal with such a decent group of people and to know I could trust in them to bring my dream to fruition, bang on budget and how I envisioned it.”

“We are extremely delighted with our R.House. It is finished to a very high standard. Our relatives and friends who visited us commented on how lovely the house is."

“We were able to configure the house plans to suit our needs. Our favourite room is the family room which is light, airy and spacious. We highly recommend R.HOUSE!”

MORE INFORMATION

Auldearn is a small village lying east of the River Nairn in the Highlands of Scotland. It has a post office and a primary school.

In the centre of Auldearn are the Rose Gardens, a small square with benches, flowerbeds and a small shelter. Above Auldearn, on top of Castle Hill, is a 17th-century pigeon loft named the Doocot or Dovecot, with hundreds of small recesses for pigeons to nest in. The National Trust for Scotland now looks after it.
