We have 8 stunning secluded waterside plots set in an idyllic loch side position with a south-easterly aspect on to the picturesque shores of Loch Etive.

We are offering a complete Turnkey Service, from plot to completed home. Each of our secluded waterside plots are fully serviced and having planning in principle for various R.HOUSE designs.

These beautiful plots would comfortably accommodate an R3, R4 or R5, but any R.HOUSE of your choice would sit perfectly on each plot, offering fabulous panoramic views up the loch to Ben Cruachan and the Taynuilt Peaks.

Achnacree Bay offers private access for residents to the shore of the bay to launch kayaks and boats. Protected from the prevailing westerly winds, the bay offers a sheltered location and yachts moored there can navigate under Connel Bridge to sail the west coast – arguably some of the best sailing waters in the world.

This is a unique opportunity to own a stunning new home with waterside access in one of Scotland’s most beautiful, tranquil and awe inspiring locations.

The Area

While it’s tempting to relax at Achnacree and simply soak up the peace and tranquility of the spectacular scenery, the surrounding highland landscape is an outdoor enthusiast’s dream.

Wild countryside, towering mountains and lush greenery surround the loch; and seals, eagles, deer and otter can all be seen along the banks.

There are endless adventures to be enjoyed whether biking, climbing, fishing, hill walking, horse riding, kayaking or mountaineering, with skiing close by at Aonach Mor and Glen Coe.

The numerous lochs and rivers provide both salmon and trout fishing and there is outstanding sailing along the West Coast with a choice of marinas nearby at Barcaldine, Creran, Dunstaffnage and Oban to name a few.

Argyll and the islands are regarded by many as one of the finest sailing areas in the world. The abundance of islands ensures that sheltered waters are always available for a pleasant day sail, whilst for those seeking greater adventure it is also possible to undertake longer coastal and offshore passages.

Frequently named as one of the best countries in the world for mountain biking The Caledonia Way, National Route 78 of the National Cycle Network, runs from Campbeltown to Inverness and passes close by offering a variety of cycling from challenging on-road to lengthy sections of traffic free path.

The nearby villages of Benderloch and Connel (3 miles) are thriving communities offering a broad range of facilities including primary schools, post office, village shop, petrol station, restaurants & cafe; with a health centre and railway station in Connel for regular services to Glasgow.

Oban (7 miles) has a great range of independent specialist shops, supermarkets, art galleries, restaurants and professional services as well as a brand new high school, hospital, leisure centre, cinema, theatre and a wide range of sport’s clubs & societies.

There is a bus service to and from Oban that passes Achnacree Bay, Connel train station, before then calling at Oban train station and Oban High School.

Oban is also the ferry terminal to the Western Isles, while Oban & The Isles Airport is located at Connel to enjoy island hopping and welcomes private pilots and commercial charters from around the UK and Europe.

Food and Fun

On the west coast of Scotland it is possible to sample some of the best cuisine that Scotland has to offer from an eclectic selection of first class award winning gourmet restaurants, to pubs, bars and bistros.

For award winning seafood, The Pierhouse at Port Appin is highly recommended; for relaxation, the Isle of Eriska Hotel, Spa and Island experience is nearby; there are a number of local golf courses, and in Oban, Atlantis Leisure Centre, Phoenix Cinema or the Corran Halls Performance Art Theatre.
