Architect Designed Homes

Featuring a stunning mix of contemporary and traditional finishes, Scottish larch cladding, white render and hand crafted stonework walls, these houses will create an impactful and individual exterior look. Interiors are enhanced with luxury kitchen and bathrooms by famous brands Hacker and Laufen. Premium NorDan windows and sliding doors downstairs (alu clad for increased quality and longevity) and double Velux windows upstairs make the most of the surrounding attractive countryside views.

The RB5 is the largest house currently available in the R.HOUSE range.

On the ground floor, there is an open plan living room and dining area with lots of glazing to the front to maximise light and take advantage of views and outlook.  A built in pantry enhances the modern German designed Hacker kitchen.  Off the living area and also facing front, is a generous family room, again with large sliding patio doors to maximise light and views.

The house benefits from a large utility room at one of the rear entrances, complete with worktop, sink and unit.  Two generously sized bedrooms and a family bathroom are situated on the other side of the ground floor.

Three spacious bedrooms, one a large master with its own en suite, and an additional full size bathroom between the fourth and fifth bedroom on the upper floor, ensure enough room for all family members. There is lots of storage built in to the house to cater for all family members. The area of this house is a generous 238 metres.

The Area

Mintlaw is Buchan’s largest village with a population of around 2,700 lying almost equidistant from the towns of Fraserburgh, Peterhead and Ellon and is a centre point for many surrounding villages and a large rural community.

The village traces its foundations back to the early 1800’s and has developed over the last two centuries. As a hub village it provides a wealth of facilities including both primary and secondary schooling, health centre and dental practice, library, bank, post-office, a selection of local shops including mini-markets and more specialised shops, a large garden centre with gift shop, hotels and public houses, take-away food outlets, filling station, garage, outdoor and indoor bowling centres and regular bus services to nearby towns, villages and Aberdeen which is 29 miles to the south. Due to these facilities and its central location the village is very popular to both young and old people alike.

On the outskirts of the village is the 230 acre ADEN COUNTRY PARK with its beautiful woodlands, wildlife and nature trails, picnic sites, childrens’ adventure playground and heritage centre with museum. In the summer months this is a popular venue for a whole host of outdoor events. Mintlaw is also an access point to the Buchan Walkway, a former railway line which stretches eastwards to Peterhead and westwards to Maud and southwards to Auchnagatt, Ellon and Dyce.
